Spa-tacular

Green Piece Indy had a small Terebinth Spa party for a few friends and wow… There are so many great things to say, I don’t even know where to start. She offers a variety of services using her homemade, natural and organic products. Our party featured a neck and shoulders treatment, as well as a foot massage. Other selections include a hand massage and a facial.

Allison arrived at my home a little early to set up her relaxing environment, complete with candles and compresses. Once guests arrived, she told us a bit about her business as we listened with lavender and peppermint compresses on our necks. Ahhhh… She then worked her way around providing services to each guest as we chatted, sipped lemonade and munched on cookies. Talk about a perfect Sunday afternoon.

Our party lasted about 2.5 hours – 5 guests receiving 2 services each. Terebinth Spa often works for donations and/or trade, though I recommend paying $30-35 an hour. That’s quite a steal, especially for the wonderful, healing work she does! This is a perfect idea for a girl’s night, bridal shower, baby shower or other celebration.

Terebinth Spa offers a free gift for any host(ess) mentioning Green Savings Indy. Mine was a homemade lavender neck compress. What a treat!!

Tidy Whitey

That’s me! I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from me! I had my second session with Organize It today and my desk is more tidy than I ever imagined.

We went through every single piece of paper on and near my desk. It’s interesting – I believe that more papers hit the recycling box because I had someone here with me. There’s some kind of accountability of “do I really need to keep that.” Because of that, and her vision to find the right home for everything, is truly organized in a way that I think I can maintain. Best part: I only spent $7 (plus tax) to get organized. Aside from the filing cabinet thingy I needed, everything else we used was re-used, including an old card box, a shoe box and a candle tin.

Had I attempted this project on my own, I believe I would have done about 1/3 of the job. Stefanie really pushed me to address every corner of my office.

Get this…we even still have one more appointment. She comes back in a week to make sure that the solutions we found are working and that I’m staying on track.

Be Bliss lives up to its name

I fully intended to write about Be Bliss Massage last night when I got home. Instead, I drank a glass of water, put on my pajamas, and got into bed to read my book. Yes, it was only 7:30, but I was so relaxed I couldn’t possibly do anything else.

Audrey has such a healing touch and a very caring personality. Her space is soothing, with peaceful music and a waterfall in the background. Her passion for wellness is evident with every part of Be Bliss. I’ll definitely be scheduling another appointment!

Getting Started

Hi! I’m Renee, the green chic behind the curtain of Green Savings Indy. I was invited to an event this morning by Audrey of Be Bliss and I had an idea! I should blog about my experiences with the vendors in Green Savings Indy.

I’m excited to get a massage from Audrey – I’ll be scheduling one soon.  In the meantime, I’ve enjoyed learning about her business and what makes her green. Her prices are very reasonable (and with a coupon from Green Savings Indy, even better!). In addition to providing natural healing services, she also makes aromatherapy products from natural and organic ingredients, and reuses containers. She also leads the Treehugger group at her day job at Angie’s List.

Check back to hear about my experience with Be Bliss and other Green Savings Indy vendors. I’ll also post updates about new vendors available at www.greensavingsindy.com.
